Getting microXCMS

You can get the project from our download server. Choose the version, you want to install.

Extracting and uploading microXCMS

Upload via FTP

Extract the archive. Then, start your FTP application, login to your server.

Drag the extracted directory and upload it on the server.

Installation on server with root access

Login via Telnet SSH and change into your webserver directory. Type in following commands:

wget -o microxcms.zip http://download.xairro.com/microxcms/versions/<u>yourversion.zip</u>
unzip microxcms.zip

You have to change yourversion.zip into the version archive, you want to install.

Install microXCMS

Hint: Before coninuing it would be useful to rename the directory into something valuable.

microXCMS comes with a comfortable installation script. Start your browser and change into the directory install/ located in the root directory of microXCMS. You only have to choose your project's name and the login settings for the administration user.
